Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Males

A lot of Valentine's Day gifts in stores and online seem to be aimed at females. Buying gifts for males seems to be notoriously more difficult! So I've decided to help those of you planning a last minute gift for the special male in your life. I've trawled the internet and surveyed the males in my life to come up with the following suggestions. I hope these help you. Remember these suggestions aren't exclusively for Valentine's Day, they work equally well for birthdays!

Edible Blooms Scotch On The Rocks (Black)
This is one of my favourite male gifts! What male wouldn't feel extra special and totally loved and spoilt receiving this 700ml Chivas Regal Premium Scotch Whiskey with a side of Lindt and Belgian chocolate treats, all beautifully presented in a keepsake black ice bucket! I'll be giving this gift to my Dad for his birthday in late February. Edible Blooms Moet Indulgence (White)
There's also a Moet Indulgence version of this hamper which contains a 750ml Moet NV Brut champagne, 20 yummy gourmet Lindt chocolate balls, complete with a keepsake white ice bucket ready to chill this gift when it arrives. My husband would love this gift! It's also perfect for sharing on a romantic evening - just saying! Click HERE to shop.

Note: For a cheaper but still indulgent version of the above there is a Chandon Indulgence White hamper too, the only difference being the bottle of bubbles included! Click HERE to shop.

Luxury Moet Bloom
If you really want to make a statement with your gift this bottle of Moet in amongst the Belgian chocolate, all in a gold bucket, is sure to impress! I wouldn't actually mind receiving this gift myself! Click HERE to shop.

  1. Great selection. Those edible blooms are an awesome idea. We're a little slack in the gift giving arena. We simply do cards (sometimes) for Valentine's day and birthdays and christmas we usually buy our own presents. Maybe we need to surprise each other this year :)

  2. I've gone with the very unromantic Cards Against Humanity...I'll get a little chocolate heart too....but you know, at least I know he'll like it (and we'll play together, and maybe even rope in the teen...)

  10. Great gift selection. I wouldn't mind half of them myself. We don't normally do gifts, just share a meal but after the week and moving house we've just had, I feel like we need a treat or three.

    1. You definitely deserve a big treat after house move number 23 Raychael! The Luxury Moet Bloom hamper would make a great housewarming present! Some champagne and chocolates to relax with would be perfect ;) All the best settling in to your new home!

  11. We don't really celebrate Valentines Day - we usually just go out to dinner but no gifts. I find it just gets taken over with commercialism.

  12. My husband would love your suggestions. I wouldn't mind the MOET choc gift myself. We're hit and miss on Valentine's Day. Sometimes we do it and other years we let it slide. Not sure what will happen this year! Maybe I will forward your suggestions to him as a reminder!

  13. Ooooh, the happy socks are a great idea! Especially as all of my husband's constantly make their calling to the vortex of lost socks!

  15. We often give socks to my husband as a gift - birthday, Valentines, any time! You really can never have too many happy socks. Although I'm more likely to get a cut of the bubbles and chocolates...

We will spend time together to celebrate Valentine's day but hubby and I rarely do gifts. Time together is more precious! :)

  17. We don't give gifts on Valentine's but if we did, I might splash out on some of those edible blooms because they just look made for sharing!

  20. Hubster and I went on a beach date together for Valentine's Day. We don't really bother with it, but I *did* add a packet of pistachios to the grocery shop and presented it to him in honour of V Day - and we bought a rose pot plant from Bunnings the day before, so in a way he gave me roses!

  21. I wouldn't mind the scotch on the rocks pack myself! Those wallets look very sturdy. I always think that about mens wallets too, they usually look really shabby.

  22. I don't ususally give valentien's gifts although I did give him some chocolate this year. I guess I've always thought of V-day as a day for men to spoil women. Maybe I'm sexist or something.
