W7 Very Vegan Makeup

Vegan makeup and cruelty free makeup is growing in popularity with more and more beauty lovers choosing to use such products based on their ethics and love of animals but to date there haven't been that many certified vegan makeup brands or ranges in Australia.

It is thus exciting to see W7 Cosmetics introduce their Very Vegan cosmetics range into Australia!

W7 developed their Very Vegan range according to the rules and regulations of The Vegan Society, which has allowed W7 to successfully have this range vegan certified.

In order to officially be certified vegan makeup, the products must be produced and manufactured using non animal derived ingredients and must not have been tested on animals.

The W7 Cosmetics Very Vegan range is comprehensive and includes vegan foundation, vegan powder, vegan highlighter, vegan bronzer, vegan eyeshadow, vegan mascara, vegan eyeliner and vegan lipstick!

That's a lot of certified vegan cosmetics items!

W7 Very Vegan Makeup

Vegan Foundation

The W7 Very Vegan HD Foundation comes in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser which I really appreciate from a hygienic point of view.

I believe it also increases the longevity of this product as it reduces the contents exposure to oxygen.

The shade I received, Natural Beige, is actually a perfect match for my skin and gives me a beautiful flawless complexion.

I am impressed with how beautifully this foundation blends. It feels creamy yet lightweight and results in a matte medium coverage.

W7 Very Vegan HD Foundation, Sheer Loose Powder,
Highlighting Powder & Matte Bronzer

W7 Very Vegan Sheer Loose Powder

This vegan sheer powder is effective at reducing shine and giving my complexion a smooth matte finish.

It has a translucent finish so it doesn't add any extra colour.

I love the inclusion of the powder puff inside the packaging which makes this a fabulous vegan powder to pop in your handbag for touch ups whilst out on the go!

W7 Very Vegan Highlighting Powder

OMG! This Nature's Glow shade of highlighting powder is gorgeous! It's a light champagne shade and is super pigmented giving a beautiful, brilliant glow!

The packaging is also lovely with a heart embossed in the product and grass embossed along the bottom edge of it!

I apologise if this sounds a little snobby, but to me this vegan highlighter feels and looks like a high end highlighter, not an affordable drug store vegan highlighter!

I love, love, LOVE this product!

W7 Very Vegan Matte Bronzer

The packaging of this vegan bronzer in the shade Sun-Kissed is identical to the packaging of the highlighting powder.

It also has the same lovely touch of a heart embossed into the product with grass embossed along the bottom edge of it.

This vegan matte bronzer is also super pigmented. The first time I used it I admit I was a bit too heavy handed so my tip is to start off lightly.

I should also add that the packaging of these products is wonderfully sturdy and I'd be happy to throw these products into my makeup bag in my handbag without any worries about the packaging.

W7 Very Vegan Eyeshadow Quad

The W7 Very Vegan Eyeshadow Quad in Autumn Ambers is, as the name suggests, perfect for Autumn.

These shimmery warm tones are stunning and the shades are absolutely beautiful to use.

W7 Very Vegan Eyeshadow Quad in Autumn Amber

I found all four shades to be beautifully soft to use, well pigmented and easily blendable.

Unfortunately my photographed swatches don't do justice to these glorious shades! But trust me when I write that they look absolutely beautiful in real life.

I am definitely going to have this vegan eyeshadow palette on high rotation this Autumn.

W7 Very Vegan Mascara

W7 Very Vegan Eyeshadow Quad,
W7 Very Vegan Very Black Mascara
& W7 Very Vegan Liquid Eyeliner.

The W7 Very Vegan Very Black Mascara is easy to use and gives me a lovely natural looking mascara result with one coat.

It gives my lashes a lovely natural lift and definition and I experience no clumping from this product.

This is a wonderful everyday vegan mascara.

W7 Very Vegan Liquid Eyeliner

To be honest I don't usually use a liquid eyeliner and I didn't get an amazing result with this vegan eyeliner but I think this was more due to my lack of skills with a liquid eyeliner and my unsteady hands than any deficiency of this product.

W7 Very Vegan Lipstick

I love wearing nude lipsticks so I was very excited to receive these two W7 Very Vegan lipstick shades in Marvellous Maple and Happy Hazel.

The embossed W7 in the tip of the bullet is a beautiful touch you'd expect from a higher end lipstick rather than such an affordable drugstore lipstick.

Marvellous Maple (top) & Happy Hazel (bottom)

I find these lipsticks to be very creamy and moisturising.

They are comfortable to wear and surprisingly long lasting too!

If you are wanting a certified vegan lipstick with good lasting power and nourishing on your lips I highly recommend these ones!

Below are some quick swatches of these two vegan lipsticks.

Overall I found the W7 Very Vegan collection to be a stunningly beautiful yet affordable vegan makeup range.

And I am totally in love with that vegan highlighting powder!

All the above vegan beauty products retail for between $4.99 and $9.99, with the majority priced at $4.99.

W7 Very Vegan cosmetics are available exclusively at Chemist Warehouse, My Chemist and My Beauty Spot Australia wide.

Do you use vegan makeup and vegan beauty products?

Is cruelty free makeup something you aim to use more of?

  2. My eldest daughter is a vegetarian and I think that she would love this range and the natural colours too. She's not much of a makeup wearer but she does prefer the natural colours such as these when she does wear it.

  15. I haven't heard of vegan makeup. A local makeup person (in Hervey Bay) sells her own range of organic / cruelty free makeup and I've been wearing her lipstick and concealer. It helps that they're great as well - so bonus! #teamlovinlife
